Coffee & cocoa export support

Secure Warehousing & Export Logistics

Protect your coffee and cocoa from origin to destination.

Uganda's coffee and cocoa exporters need dependable handling, suitable storage, clear inventory records and coordinated transport to preserve product quality and meet buyer requirements.

Agro Network helps exporters assess warehousing and logistics needs and coordinate practical arrangements with appropriate service providers. The goal is to keep commodities identifiable, handling records clear and shipment milestones aligned with buyer expectations.

Suitable commodity storage

Assess storage requirements for coffee and cocoa, including clean and dry conditions, pest management, controlled access, segregation, stock identification and documented movements.

Quality and inventory records

Maintain clear records for received quantities, weights, lot references, sampling, inspection results, stock adjustments and dispatch. Coffee and cocoa need commodity-appropriate handling, and quality claims must be supported by inspection or test results.

Transport and shipment coordination

Coordinate collection schedules, loading, handovers, transport records, export documentation and shipment milestones with the exporter and service providers. Confirm responsibilities, insurance and delivery terms in writing.

How it works

Agro Network supply chain: receive, store, verify and dispatch
  1. Assess the commodity: confirm commodity, form, volume, packaging, current quality, destination and required storage period.
  2. Plan storage and handling: agree on lot identification, stock records, security, quality checks, responsibilities and service terms.
  3. Coordinate shipment: align collection, dispatch, transport, documents and delivery milestones.
  4. Review records: confirm that quantities and lot references reconcile across receipt, storage and dispatch records.

Warehouse receipt-backed finance depends on a licensed warehouse that participates in Uganda's Warehouse Receipt System, and on the commodity and arrangement being eligible. Any financing is subject to the lender's eligibility and approval. Agro Network does not issue regulated warehouse receipts or guarantee finance.
